Our booking process is seamless. We have created one sample tour proposal as you can see in our website: Our “Swiss and North Italian Treasures Tour”.  Have a look at it and make suggestions or add specific interest points.

Tour layout, hotels, program, itinerary and final price will be presented to you on a formal offer. Once you decide to book, we send reservation requests to all our suppliers and once we have a confirmed itinerary we forward you the invoice for 25% deposit.

The deposit can be paid online using our secure payment portal. We then hold all reservations and finalize your arrangements. Final payment is due in advance of travel date. See payment timings on our offer.

Your tour driver/guide will greet you at your hotel or airport with your information pack for your tour. This pack includes vouchers, maps, itinerary and related information on Switzerland.

The finalized itinerary will be forwarded to you by e–mail and our driver guide will have the touring pack the day you start touring with us.

3. Your reservation confirmation. We request all suppliers to confirm dates.
4. Invoice – 25% deposit payment as confirmation.
5. Full program will be sent to you.

All of our drivers have considerable expertise in Switzerland and Italy from many different perspectives. However, by Swiss law it is not permitted to offer both:  guiding and driving at the same time.

The driver may join in some activities as company but not as a guide. Depending on program agreed, you will have an Official guide and escort. 

Every season is special and beautiful in this part of Europe. However, based on our travel experience we decided to offer our tour exclusively between May first to the middle of October. The long hours of sunlight at the end of spring, during the whole summer and the beautiful golden autumn make it ideal for enjoying walking, hiking, bathing in the lakes and rivers and seeing the Alps at their best. Surely, we combine mountains, valleys, cities and even snow during our tour but with the advantage of sunlight until 21:00.
Winter is fantastic for winter sports, however at 17:00 it is already dark out..

We usually recommend smart casual clothing with a mixture of light and warmer clothes. In particular bring some bathing suits and shoes for hiking in nature. 
As we lodge our guests in 4 to 5 star hotels formal attire for evenings could be required for dinner and in the event of concerts or special events.

In the tour program that will be given to you before arrival all these agreed points will be listed, described and explained.  Here we show you some basic points:

A full touring day is usually eight hours with breaks for lunch, attractions and anything else that takes your fancy.
As a general guideline, we recommend starting at approximately 10.00 each morning with one hour for lunch and finishing at approximately 18.00–19:00 in the evening.
This can change, however, depending on whether you wish to do an evening activity or perhaps have a long day one day and a short one the next.

Transport itself is an attraction in Switzerland and in Italy; boats, panoramic trains, regular trains, and mountain lifts are all part of the fun.

We are very flexible with time but in the end, it depends upon your wishes and the program agreed. You may want to relax or hit the road and see the most you can.

From our experience, we suggest an early check-in at the hotel, say 18:00, a rest for a couple of hours and at 20:00 be ready to go out to a concert, dinner, walk in the city to enjoy the end of the day.

The train is the most convenient and comfortable transport for moving around Switzerland, especially travelling through the Alps. This marvel of modern engineering offers us views of lakes, mountains, fields, rivers and towns from a comfortable seat on a train.

Instead of investing in huge motorways, the Swiss government decided to create this SBB train system, which is much more ecological and more efficient. Therefore, we would rather use the train as much as possible combined with our chauffeured van service. Doing so we avoid traffic jams and optimize our transport timing.

Our driver and guide and our escort will meet you as you exit customs in the arrival hall of the airport.

The tour is designed to show the beauty of these 2 countries in Europe but also to show the contrast between them. A trip from the German Swiss world to the Italian fabulous artistic colorful way of life.

Any of the three following international airports are suitable for your arrival: Genève, Zürich and Basel.

For your departure at the end of the tour in Milano, you will have also another 3 main international airports at your disposal: Milano Malpensa Airport, Milano Linate and Milano Bergamo.

If you come to Switzerland by train from France or from Germany, we will be able to give you transfer from the train stations of the 3 cities mentioned above.

The escort is at your disposal from 10:00 to 20:00. The guide depends on the program.

Totally up to you. We can accompany you anywhere you want. You decide the rhythm and the time.
