Terms & Conditions for Private Luxury Tours Switzerland

Before booking a tour and related services through European Private Tours Ltd, please take a time to read the following:　

These Terms & Conditions, authored by European Private Tours Ltd, pertain to all services we offer and comply fully with Swiss tour operator requirements. These Terms & Conditions will also apply to any final booking Agreement and other relevant contracts transacted online or in person.

Passport and Visa – Customs regulations

Every Private Luxury Tours Switzerland traveler must have a valid passport. Visas are required for a continuous stay of more than three months and for citizens of specific countries. For more information, please contact a Swiss consulate.

Bookings and Formal Agreement

You may make your reservations and payment for Private Luxury Tours Switzerland directly to European Private Tours Ltd via our booking and contact page, email or by phone 0041 78 344 61 16.

European Private Tours Ltd offers the Swiss & North Italian Treasures Tour and customized tours. All parties involved will receive a booking confirmation form, including signed confirmations of tour details, plus any further relevant information and terms. In signing the booking confirmation form, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions, all fees, and any further terms relevant to your tour.

European Private Tours Ltd bases tour fees on the number of travelers involved. Tours will be billed in Swiss Francs as a group price, not as a per-individual price.
To guarantee a tour, a deposit is required within seven days of the booking confirmation signature. Full payment in Swiss francs is due six weeks prior to arrival.

European Private Tours Ltd does not accept payment via credit cards.
Refunds are managed via a direct bank transfer from the European Private Tours Ltd account in Switzerland to your designated bank account – Please see 4 below for more details.

Description of Services

European Private Tours Ltd makes every effort to provide the most current and accurate description of services offered on our website and all other promotional materials. European Private Tours Ltd is not liable, however, for any information that is inadvertently incorrect, incomplete, or out of date.

Tour Program – Itinerary

European Private Tours Ltd individually customizes Our Itinerary, and your safety and well-being come first. In the event of natural catastrophes and unavoidable circumstances that might interrupt or restrict the expected itinerary, European Private Tours Ltd reserves the right to alter or cancel tour obligations. Such changes will be communicated as quickly as possible, and we will make every effort to provide equivalent substitutes, Refunds, if applicable, will be issued in the currency of the original payment for the cancelled or altered booking involved.

In the rare instance a hotel, trip, or event is no longer available, European Private Tours Ltd will assist with alternative arrangements, or we will cancel your reservation and manage refunds as applicable.

Special Requests

If you have any special requests for your European Private Tours Ltd tour, we invite you to submit them, in detail, when you book your tour by the booking confirmation form. European Private Tours Ltd will convey these requests to all relevant parties (lodging, restaurants, external partners and providers), but we cannot guarantee that complete fulfillment is always possible. If a service or amenity is unavailable, European Private Tours Ltd is not responsible for failure to fulfill a special request. Cancellations and possible refunds in such an event will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

Charges Not Included in Tour Package

If additional charges apply during your tour, you are responsible for payment directly to the service provider. Additional charges may include hotel laundry service, room service, beauty or medical treatments, telephone or mini-bar charges, beverages and snacks separate from the tour, and other expenses not already covered by European Private Tours Ltd. Activities you book independently from a European Private Tours Ltd tour are your responsibility in terms of both direct payment and any other issues that may arise with the service provider.

Personal Tour Driver – Chauffeur

European law for professional passenger transportation limits driving time to eight hours per day and ‘on call’ to ten hours per day. The driver can also expect a minimum rest period of eleven hours. Extra hours or night travel should be booked separately with an external limousine service or taxi. Last-minute transportation needs are generally managed directly with the service provider and not through European Private Tours Ltd.

Cancellation by Customer

All cancellations must be made via email or post and are not valid until European Private Tours Ltd issues a confirmation.

Your deposit fee – please see 2 above – covers communication, administrative, and external provider expenses and will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
Full refund – minus deposit – is allowed for cancellations made 60 days or more prior to your specified departure date.
Refund of 80% – minus deposit – is allowed for cancellations 25–59 days prior to your departure date.
Refund of 50% – minus deposit – is allowed for cancellations 10–24 days prior to your departure date.
No refund is due for cancellation made 10 days or less prior to departure date.
No refund is due for a ‘no show’, failure to arrive on time at the designated departure point).
European Private Tours Ltd tour rates are based in part on the group size 6 persons.If one or more members of the tour group must cancel, total costs may reflect this change.
If this new number of tour participants fails to meet the necessary minimum for a planned event or activity, European Private Tours Ltd reserves the right to propose alternatives or, in certain cases, to be specified in the booking confirmation form, cancel the tour.
In the event of such a cancellation, European Private Tours Ltd will assume most external provider cancellation fees, unless otherwise specified in the booking confirmation form.

Insurance

European Private Tours Ltd tour participants assume full responsible for their own insurance coverage. European Private Tours Ltd recommends coverage for medical expenses, personal accident, baggage loss, theft or damage, and curtailment or cancellation of your trip.

Cancellation by European Private Tours Ltd

European Private Tours Ltd may cancel a tour if the deposit or the final payment rate is not paid as per conditions specified in the booking confirmation form. In such cases, the cancellation costs follow the Terms & Conditions noted above – Please see 8.

In the event of natural catastrophes and unavoidable circumstances that might interrupt or restrict the expected itinerary, European Private Tours Ltd reserves the right to alter or cancel tour obligations. In such instances, European Private Tours Ltd will reimburse payments for hotels and related tour expenses whenever possible – Applicable conditions will be specified in the booking confirmation form.

Liability

European Private Tours Ltd is not liable for personal injury due to a client’s negligence. We are also not liable for loss, damage or theft of personal effects such as cash, valuables, computers, phones, cameras, or the loss, theft, damage, or misuse of checks and credit cards.

European Private Tours Ltd will reimburse for the value of contracted, unfulfilled services or additional relevant expenditures only if European Private Tours Ltd is unable to provide a suitable replacement, or in the event of natural catastrophes and unavoidable circumstances that might interrupt or restrict the expected itinerary – Please see above 2 and 10.

European Private Tours Ltd must fulfill the proposed tour’s Terms & Conditions as specified in the booking confirmation form, but is not liable for any activity not specified in the tour program that the client may choose to undertake independently.

Privacy Notice

In agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you consent to the collection and storage of any personal information according to our Privacy Policy. European Private Tours Ltd may obtain in the course of preparing a tour offer by email, telephone, or other communication channels. European Private Tours Ltd does not share this information with anyone not working directly with European Private Tours Ltd on tour preparations and execution.

Applicable Law

Swiss law governs the legal relationship between the client and European Private Tours Ltd and any claims against European Private Tours Ltd, will fall under the jurisdiction of Bern, Switzerland.
